Kathleen Bonczyk

Kathleen M. Bonczyk is a senior associate with Long, Marmero and joined the firm in 2008.  Ms. Bonczyk concentrates her practices in the areas of Labor and Employment Law, first party insurance defense, declaratory judgment actions, defense of insurer bad faith claims and subrogation matters.  Ms. Bonczyk represents the Camden County Insurance Commission and as pool attorney and supports the Gloucester County Insurance Commission as Solicitor.  Kathleen represents Deptford, Delran, Weymouth and Riverside Townships, Willingboro, City of Beverly and Riverside Municipal Utilities Authority and Cumberland County Improvement Authority as Labor and Employment Counsel, Special Litigation Counsel to Pemberton Township, Beverly, Burlington, and Trenton Cities and Cumberland and Gloucester Counties.  Ms. Bonczyk also represents the Cumberland County Improvement Authority on insurance and labor matters and Delran, Deptford and Pemberton Townships, City of Trenton, Burlington City and Cumberland County Improvement Authority on Workman’s Compensation Defense.

Ms. Bonczyk has written several books and legal pieces for various organizations, institutions and publications including:  Property Loss Research Bureau, Defense Research Institute, Florida Bar Labor and Employment Division, Lorman Newsletters and Claims Magazine.  Ms. Bonczyk serves as Speaker/Moderator for Lorman Education Services on various topics pertaining to Insurance Defense and Employment and Labor Law.  Ms. Bonczyk has also been a guest speaker to the Gloucester County Mayors’ Association on Labor and Employment Matters.  Ms. Bonczyk has litigated hundreds of insurance matters successfully and is extremely familiar with the JIF and MEL.
