James SchroederJames E. Schroeder

Jim has been with Long, Marmero since 2008 where he primarily handles Criminal and Civil Litigation cases. Clients include Municipalities, large nonprofits, Homeowners and Education Associations and other private clients.

Jim currently serves as Public Defender for Shamong Township and is the Workman’s Compensation Attorney for several Municipalities and Government Agencies, including Delran and Deptford Townships, Trenton and Burlington City and the Cumberland County Improvement Authority. Jim serves as Defense Counsel for Camden County in their VRO/VOP Court.

Jim is very active in the community and he serves on numerous boards and consults with not- for-profit organizations and community development projects. Jim completed the vigorous program at Duke University in Non-Profit Leadership and is employing the skills he developed to help southern New Jersey organizations increase capacity and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
