A Few Words About Long, Marmero
Long, Marmero & Associates was founded in 2003 and is generally regarded as South Jersey’s land use expert. Although the firm specializes in all areas of land development including residential, commercial and redevelopment. The firm primarily serves municipal and corporate clients and is appointed by numerous municipalities to provide excellent legal counsel to their elected and appointed officials.
The firm has also developed a specialty in assisting clients with crisis management. Often when clients ask our assistance they face serious issues including actions which have violated the public trust or the trust of their specific constituency.
Due to our location in Woodbury, the majority of our clients come from the southern New Jersey area, including Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Cumberland, Salem and Atlantic counties, but our services are by no means limited to these areas.
Our role as your legal counsel not only entails the traditional tasks of negotiating legal issues and drafting relevant provisions, we also provide advice and analysis relating to the effect various legal strategies have on government and commercial entities. It is this big-picture, “business-oriented” approach, when combined with our attention to detail, that makes the Long Marmero a recognized leader in land development.

Albert K. Marmero is one of the founding partners of Long, Marmero & Associates. Since its inception, Al has been the head of the Land Use Department which has successfully advocated before numerous New Jersey municipal and county planning and/or zoning boards.
